Davede is passionate about youth development and mentorship.  He sees Leadership LINKS as an avenue to equip young people with real and tangible ways to change their world. Throughout his career he has conceptualized and developed ongoing, popular, leadership programs for organizations such as the U. S. Marine Corps, the U. S. Naval Academy, and the Ron Burton Training Village. Davede received his Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, and proudly served as a Surface Warfare Officer. Davede resides in Crofton, MD with his wife and two children.


Allison serves Leadership LINKS because she desires to connect with other like-minded individuals who are passionate about justice and education. She is Assistant Professor of Education in the Department of Leadership Studies at High Point University in North Carolina.  She holds a Ph.D. in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies from Loyola University Chicago, where she graduated with distinction.  Her dissertation titled, “Here there is no Gentile or Jew: Doing Diversity in a Conservative Christian School,” earned her the Dissertation of the Year award at Loyola. Blosser’s research focuses on faith-based schools, diversity policies in schools and districts, school choice, and culturally responsive teaching. Allison resides in High Point, NC with her husband and two children.


David serves Leadership LINKS because he believes in the mission and values of the organization, and because he wants to develop and empower future leaders. David Heggie earned a B.A. in History from Guilford College in December of 1998. David is honored to have the opportunity to support our best and brightest students by sharing his time, talent, and treasure. Driven by faith and the desire to build community, David is guided by Muhammad Ali’s famous quote, “Service to others is the rent we pay for our room here on earth.” David is married to Thayle Heggie ’97, and they currently reside in Greensboro, NC.


Hank serves Leadership LINKS because he desires to contribute to the good and necessary work of the organization. Hank has practiced law in Greensboro, NC for 35+ years, specializing in corporate matters and related tax issues. Hank and his wife, Janice are active members of Grace Community Church. There he serves as Treasurer, a member of the Finance Team, Marriage Team (including couples mentoring), and as an usher.


Deronta uses his gifts of leadership, work ethic, and love for education to help others reach their God-given potential. This is his passion concerning Leadership LINKS. He is a native of South Carolina. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served seven years as an Avionics Technician. While serving in the Marine Corps, he attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems. He now serves as director of the professional services department, managing 80 employees who are responsible for delivering 13 million dollars in annual services in support of police departments across the country. He resides in High Point, NC with his wife, Natasha, and daughter.


Mandy serves Leadership LINKS because of her passionate desire to develop people. Mandy is an experienced strategic change agent and consultant with over ten years of demonstrated expertise working with both corporate and nonprofit teams to develop and implement leadership and development programing, change management, and corporate and social responsibility efforts. Mandy holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Organizational Leadership from Seattle University and Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Oakland University. She currently resides in Charlotte, N.C. and is happily married to her college sweetheart, Mr. Cazzie Williams. She is a proud mother to three sons, Matthew, CJ, and Nathan.


Will serves Leadership LINKS because of his desire to see every person meet their fullest potential by a passionate pursuit of living in purpose on purpose. Colonel Williamson has completed over 22 years of active duty service in the Marine Corps, after having received his commission from the United States Naval Academy in 1994.  During his career, he has performed duties in several different capacities and traveled throughout the world, participating in combat operations, contingency missions, and myriad training exercises. Originally from the Washington DC Metropolitan Area, Colonel Williamson currently resides in Herndon, Virginia with his wife, Mattrice. They are blessed to have raised three thriving, young-adult and teen children (Aliah, Elijah, and Nilah) in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
