February 4, 2017
Leadership LINKS, Inc. hosted a "LINKS Leader Path to College" event in North Carolina. This event specifically focused on what middle and high school students and their parents or guardians can do now to prepare for college admission.
Leadership LINKS, Inc. was one of only 18 organizations in Guilford County selected by the Center for Creative Leadership and the Women's Professional Forum Foundation to facilitate the Girls Leadership Edge program for middle school girls ages 13 to 15. The program was designed to develop courage, confidence, and compassion. We had 14 girls successfully complete this 10 lesson program.
October 7-9, 2016
Leadership LINKS, Inc. sponsored and organized a leadership education tour, which included the hosting of a "LINKS Leader Forum for Youth" at the University of Maryland College Park. This tour engaged over 30 students from North Carolina, with the forum providing leadership education and college preparation for nearly 100 parents and students.

Leadership LINKS, Inc. officially hosted its first annual "Walk in Purpose" Summer Leadership Program for Girls at The Point College Preparatory and Leadership Academy in Jamestown, NC.

Visionary Founder, Natasha Sistrunk Robinson, released the book, “Mentor for Life: Finding Purpose through Intentional Discipleship” as a leadership resource, and opportunity to take a different look at mentoring for God’s kingdom purposes.

Leadership LINKS, Inc. was incorporated in the state of North Carolina, and established as a 501(c)(3) organization.

The Founding Board Members of Leadership LINKS worked with SHABACH! Ministries, Incorporated (SMI) in Prince George County, Maryland to carry out a “Leadership Summer Program for Girls.” After writing curriculum, planning, and executing this pilot program, the founders of Leadership LINKS used this experience to outline our flagship summer program for girls.

The Founding Board Members of Leadership LINKS gathered for a planning retreat to decide how best to move forward. After prayer and discussion, it was agreed that we would formally establish Leadership LINKS as a nonprofit organization.

The Founding Board Members of Leadership LINKS gathered for an “Identifying our What” Retreat. This retreat helped clarify the purpose, mission, and core values of Leadership LINKS. It also solidified our desire to offer a leadership summer program for youth. Leaders of the online community of Leadership LINKS gathered for a “Dreaming” Retreat. At this planning retreat, the team gave themselves permission to dream about all of the possibilities and good work an intentional community like Leadership LINKS could bring to the world.

The vision to establish a collaborative, educational, and encouraging online community of like-minded leaders and mentors was realized. The Leadership LINKS online community was established through the Facebook social media platform with the tagline, “The Place Where Visions Connect.” The primary purpose of the online community was to provide a consolidated resource for holistic professional engagement, and a platform for outreach and mentorship. Our desire was to engage and holistically develop servant-leaders who were committed to leaving a legacy of global impact. Our three community values were: empowerment, education, and unity.

Visionary Founder, Natasha Sistrunk Robinson, emailed a small group of colleagues from her United States Naval Academy Network to share the desire to connect leaders for personal encouragement and professional development, and passing what we have learned on to the next generation.
