Dr. Natasha Sistrunk Robinson
On February 24, 2012, Natasha Sistrunk Robinson emailed a small group of colleagues from her United States Naval Academy Network to share her vision of connecting an intergenerational and multi-ethnic community of leaders for personal encouragement and professional development, while passing their wisdom and understanding on to the next generation. She wanted to grow a collaborative, educational, and encouraging community of like-minded individuals who have a strong passion for mentorship, education, leadership, public service, and Christian faith, and who were committed to intentionally investing in the next generation, while serving their local communities, and making a global impact.
Among the small online community, six alumni of the Naval Academy answered the call and committed to praying and dreaming together for three years. From that point of entry, Natasha continued to lead the team and use her passions, skills, research, strategic mind, and relational capacity to cultivate what has become the Leadership LINKS Network, the secret sauce of individuals and organizations that sustain the work of Leadership LINKS, Inc.
Dr. Natasha Sistrunk Robinson is a Black girl from the small rural town of Orangeburg, South Carolina (hometown of two Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Claflin University and South Carolina State University), and a beneficiary of mentoring through the Helen Sheffield Federated Girls Club (an organization of the National Council of Negro Women). As a graduate of a Title-1 public school, she became a scholar, competitive athlete, and leader because her family and village cultivated a meaningful life filled with love; positive affirmation; character, spiritual, and leadership development through skill-building like self-discipline, hard work, determination, and integrity.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English from the United States Naval Academy (USNA) where she graduated in the first class (200) post 911. Her Naval Academy experience brought personal transformation and a network of life-long friendships, mentorship, leadership, access and opportunities, and travel which has shaped Dr. Natasha into the leader that she is today. Upon graduation, Dr. Robinson honorably served her country for six years as a Financial Management Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Officer, earning the rank of Captain, and became a federal government employee at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
After federal government service, she enrolled as a full-time student at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary-Charlotte, where she graduated cum laude with a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership (2014) and obtained the Redemptive Leadership Award. Then she began her journey as a social entrepreneur. She launched her writing and speaking careers. She became President & CEO of T3 Leadership Solutions, Inc. where she provides customized consulting, professional mentorship, and executive leadership coaching to individuals and businesses. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), certified facilitator of the Working Genius ® assessment, and many other certifications.
Dr. Natasha continued her professional journey as a scholar practitioner by obtaining her doctorate of ministry from North Park Theological Seminary (a cohort with Fuller Theological Seminary) in 2023. Her dissertation focused on the narratives and controlling images that negatively impact the lives of Black women, and the systemic work needed to address these challenges. She presented her cultivation of Leadership LINKS, and her development of its mentoring programming for Black girls as a solution to the historical, social, political, theological systemic analysis.
Dr. Natasha is the author of several books including Voices of Lament, Journey to Freedom (Exodus Bible study),A Sojourner’s Truth, Hope for Us: Knowing God through the Nicene Creed Bible study, Mentor for Life and its accompanying leader’s training manual. She hosts A Sojourner’s Truth podcast. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in the military, federal government, academic, and nonprofit sectors, she is a sought after keynote speaker, author, leadership trainer, facilitator, consultant, and coach.
For the past decade, Dr. Natasha led the Leadership LINKS Network and organization as the Chairperson of the Board. In 2026, she transitioned from that leadership role to intentionally focus on the vision-casting, network building, and strategic planning necessary for organizational sustainability, and she is continuing her work of intentionally investing in the mentorship, leadership, character, and spiritual development of the next generations of Black girls and young women leaders, and the adults who serve them.
When Dr. Robinson is not working, she enjoys reading; traveling (often with her daughter); laughing, and enjoying great food and conversations with loved ones; watching movies; or living a quiet life at home with her husband in Durham NC. She loves dancing, singing, celebrating theater and the arts, live music, and experimenting with her fashionable style.
